How do I get to Jul i Vinterland?

Jul i Vinterland is located in Spikersuppa, in the heart of Karl Johans gate in Oslo, alongside the ice-skating rink and within walking distance of Nationaltheatret. The Christmas market is easy to reach by public transport, whether you travel by metro, tram, train or bus.

Metro

The nearest metro stations are Nationaltheatret and Stortinget. Both stations are just a short walk from Jul i Vinterland.

Tram

Take tram lines 11, 12 or 13 and get off at Øvre Slottsgate or Nationaltheatret.

Train

If you’re travelling from elsewhere in Norway, you can take the train to Nationaltheatret station or Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). From Oslo S, it’s approximately a 10–15-minute walk along Karl Johans gate to Jul i Vinterland.

Bus and express bus

If you’re travelling by bus, you can get off at the Rådhuset stop, approximately a five-minute walk from the Christmas market.

For longer journeys, you can also take a Vy express coach to Oslo Bus Terminal. From there, you can continue by public transport to Rådhuset or Nationaltheatret.
